This is the poignant tale of Kathijah, a 16-year-old Rohingya refugee who, together with her brother Ishak, sought refuge in Malaysia to escape danger and uncertainty.

In a foreign land, devoid of legal standing, support, or certainty, Kathijah clings to her only lifeline - her phone.

Now, her desperate struggle for survival becomes a shared experience.

Approximately 150,000 refugees currently reside in Malaysia, with the majority fleeing Myanmar, including 56,000 Rohingya individuals. Among them, 35,144 are minors under the age of 18, many living through experiences akin to those portrayed in Finding Home. The refugee narrative is profoundly personal, often shrouded in complexity. Representing more than mere figures or political discourse in any refugee crisis are singular individuals bearing authentic stories of anguish and trepidation, yet also of resilience and optimism.
